ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION FACILITIES

Access to clean water supply and sanitation is a fundamental human need and rights. Water is vital for wellbeing and health, yet it is increasely threaten resource in world,especailly Africa. Improving access to clean water and sanitation and hygiene is a first step towards creating a physical environment that enhances human dignity and self-esteem.

Poor sanitation and hygeine cripples national development and inadequate as well as lack of acess to clean water and sanitation services cost Sub-Sahara Africa five percent of its Gross Domestic Products each year. It is against this background that African Media Aid/Global Media Foundation in pursuance of one of its objectives promoting access to clean water and sanitation has initiated this campaign: ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION FACILITIES.
