Forest and Forest People are integral parts of the Biodiversity

I am a human rights and environmental activist working with the Forest People, Indigenous Communities and Marginal Farmers of southwest coastal region of Bangladesh for their traditional rights on the natural resources and basic human rights. I am working against commercialization, corporatization and corruption related with the management of Sundarbans natural resources which is the largest single tract mangrove forest in the world. My organization is Humanitywatch, a regional right-based organization working with the sectors of Forest, Biodiversity, Forest People, Indigenous Communities, Climate Change, Development Watch and Education. My position is Chief Executive in my organization.
