The Linkage over Boundaries

This journal entry is part of the Sustainable Living in a Developing World campaign

The vision is one of true sustainable living in a Modern world and as such is based on technologies we believe are not only good for the environment but for society as well.... The first and most important link is Nutrition for without that we are nothing. Richard Higgins now works in Uganda, and Mozambique and he has plans to develop this work into Rwanda with our partners Sustainable Sanitation Alliance, Norgesvel and Stockholm Environment Institute.
The backbone of our mission is Community Living, for when people work efficiently together they do so to create synergy which will lift the project into a reality. Organically derived Materials of construction are now the focus of my attention, for it is from this that the essential modular housing and Sanitation Systems will be made. Steven and Sarah Potter, the inventor's family, will together bring this vital component onto the World's stage through their new Partners. Meanwhile, I must admit to enjoying my visit to Istanbul with Steven, and meeting the investment partners. These guys will "enable" this new technology to launch and thence proceed to fruition in the Developing World.
Suffice to say the linkage between technical and functional concept has become clearer and more important to me over the years...... My efforts now include, where ever possible, the creation of more resilient forms of business to undertake the actions of the Foundation. This is done by way of Open Capital, Zero Debt funding and corporate partnership models. Thank you Mr Chris Cook (he of Open Capital. Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Security and Resilience Studies UCL. ) and Vinay Gupta (hexayurt.com) for invaluable lessons in economics!
The last link will become clear to those who follows this blog, as the project moves into Design phase of the dwellings.
"May you all have a peaceful Christmas and a New Year that rewards in proportion to your efforts to help others."
