SMK Freelance Co-ordinator for Scotland ![]() ![]() I work part-time on behalf of SMK in Scotland on a new pilot project, Reaching UK Campaigners, which is being supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. The project will initially run over a two year period and is intended to enable SMK to better reach campaigners across the UK who are eligible for their existing support programmes. We are particularly keen to try and work with those who have the least access to campaign support and resources. The Sheila McKechnie Foundation works to connect, inform and support campaigners and to enable individuals to bring about positive social, economic and environmental change. The Reaching UK Campaigners project aims to enable SMK, as a very small charity, to test a low-cost and potentially sustainable regional/devolved structure to better identify and reach emerging campaigners who may want to access the kind of support the Foundation offers. ![]() Learn about this campaigner's highs and lows and exchange your ideas and tips. 14 weeks ago |
