I have written a project of works which tackle the many issues faced by many in society today. It is a proactive child abuse prevention programme which begins at the very beginning, during the ante-natal stage. Sadly this is where many difficulties begin and even more sad that these difficulties are not picked up on and therefore support and help is not offered. My project is entitled Express Yourself and it's aims are to raise children's awareness to their rights over their own bodies and encourage children to speak out without shame if they have experienced or are experiencing abuse of any form. Only by speaking and sharing information and giving knowledge can children begin to feel the safety that they are entitled to.
I am happily married with 2 children and have a great interest in children's emotional well being as this is the key to allround well being.
